Redeemer Lutheran Preschool: Learning, Growing, Excelling

Note: This article appeared in the August 8th, 2013 edition of the Huntington Beach Wave, our local paper here in HB.

From the moment children are born – and even beforehand – parents are busy doing all they can to support and nurture the life, health, and growth of their children.

Here at Redeemer Lutheran Preschool we couldn’t agree more. Each child is a precious gift from God and should be cared for, nurtured, and given a supportive environment at home and school. The preschool is a necessary and vital part of Redeemer Lutheran Church’s outreach and service to the community. We care for families and their children the best way we know how, by providing a quality, Christian education that prepares them for a life of learning, growing, and excelling. That’s been our philosophy since the classroom doors first opened on November 3, 1986.
Today, we remain dedicated to the task of providing families with the best in education through a caring, Christ-centered environment. It is our daily work and fervent prayer that when the children leave our doors, they leave having received a firm foundation for their future education in kindergarten and beyond.

But a school is only as good as its teachers. Redeemer Lutheran Preschool has been, and continues to be blessed with a dedicated, compassionate, and nurturing staff. Since 2000, Mrs. Sue Kolacinski has been a faithful preschool director serving our church and school alongside an amazing staff of Janice Hile, Lupita Henson, and most recently, Janette Flores. We are truly thankful for their tireless service.

Our preschool staff is committed to excellence in child development through academic, yet age appropriate curriculum. So, in recent years, we’ve updated our curriculum to meet the increasing requirements of state and county educational standards for entrance into kindergarten. And our preschool is currently in the process of accreditation. Additionally, the weekly curriculum has been enhanced through music, drama, and art. And we’ve made numerous upgrades to our playground and facilities in order to ensure that our children can have fun and learn all while giving parents a peace of mind.

As a parent I want what’s best for my child at home and at school. That’s why my daughter is at Redeemer Lutheran School. Our children deserve the best at home and in school. Our children deserve to know Christ’s love through a Christ-centered curriculum and program that includes weekly bible stories, chapel, and prayer. Our children deserve the best gift we can give them: the joy of learning, growing, and excelling.
Redeemer Lutheran Preschool is here to give you and your children the best in Christian education. Come for a visit or contact us via the internet at www.redeemer-lutheran.net or by phone at (714) 840-7117.
